The Maloti Drakensburg Transfrontier Conservation Area facilitated the establishment and development of the Matatiele Nature Reserve. The business plan for this reserve was developed in 2009 and approved by the relevant structures. Subsequent to this, The Department of Environmental Affairs' then Social Responsibility Projects unit approved a business plan for the development of the Gateway office and eco-tourism complex within the Reserve. This attached is a project progress report on the above for information sharing and the world being implemented within the MDTP.
